I Am A Christian

~ by Maya Angelou ~

When I say… “I am a Christian”
I’m not shouting “I’m clean livin’.”
I’m whispering “I was lost,”
Now I’m found and forgiven.

When I say… “I am a Christian”
I don’t speak of this with pride.
I’m confessing that I stumble
And need CHRIST to be my guide.

When I say… “I am a Christian”
I’m not trying to be strong.
I’m professing that I’m weak
And need HIS strength to carry on.

When I say… “I am a Christian”
I’m not bragging of success.
I’m admitting I have failed
And need God to clean my mess.

When I say… “I am a Christian”
I’m not claiming to be perfect,
My flaws are far too visible
But, God believes I am worth it.

When I say… “I am a Christian”
I still feel the sting of pain.
I have my share of heartaches!
So I call upon His name.

When I say… “I am a Christian”
I’m not holier than thou,
I’m just a simple sinner
Who received God’s good grace, somehow.

Christians are not Perfect Just Forgiven!!
If YOU DONOT know if you Died Today where your Soul would Go too!
You can Simply Get on Your Knees and confess your Sins to Jesus and ask him to come into Your Heart and be the Head of Your Decisions and Judgements, and you will have just insured your Soul will go to heaven!! It is Free and don’t let no TV Hocus Pocus His Name Ministries tell you give and get rich it is not true ,what is true is you will have a Peace that Passeth all Understanding.

Well, I have finally pushed my Cornett Computer Consulting web site live. I like to call it “3CDev” for short. I am planning to use this web site to help me market my business and take it to the next level.

I have also just started hosting the Sweetwater Emmaus web site. I will be doing a make-over to the site and also adding a complete back end management system for them.

I am currently adding a mail server to the mix…not having very much success with it right now. I have gotten everything installed successfully but now I’m struggling through some configuration issues…the main issue is that I’m not sure how to set it all up…haha. Oh well, I’ll get er done soon enough.

Great Weekend?

Well, did everybody have a great weekend? I did, not as good as James and Mashala, they got paid to have a great weekend, congrats to them.

I spent my weekend with my family working around the house. We are building a patio out of 4 inch think, flat rocks. They are very heavy and hard to move around. Laying them out so that there is not very many gaps between them is a hard task also. I’m about half way done and it sure is looking good. After all this work it could look like crap and I would still tell everybody that “it sure is looking good” haha.

I watched a few hours of the Hurricane Katrina aftermath on CNN Saturday. Man am I glad that we live in West Texas, there is never enough water around here to be able to do that amount of damage. It hurts my heart to see all the suffering that our people are having to go through. All we can do is pray and try to help any way possible, it’s tough, those people are going through some severe trauma. And the death toll is getting up there. We will have to wait to see what it ends up at after all said and done.

New Header and Color Scheme

Well, if you haven’t noticed I have changed my site somewhat. I added the new header that contains pictures of the problems that hurricane Katrina has caused. Within the header there is a link that you can click that goes to the American Red Cross web site where you can donate money to help out the relief efforts for the hurricane victims, if you want. I also changed the color scheme to match the colors of the American Red Cross.

I followed James Cross and Foo and many other web sites out there that are helping the hurricane relief efforts anyway that they can.
