Happy Birthday to me!

Happy Birthday to me, Happy Birthday to me, Happy Birthday to Benny….Happy Birthday to me

and Buster.

Well, another year gone by, I’m now the big 3-4. Back in the day I was so happy to turn another year older, now, I’m not so sure. The days seem to be going by faster and faster. With the wife and kids, I want the days to slow down so I can enjoy all the good times they create for me. As the old saying goes…slow down and smell the coffee, that’s what I need to do for sure.

Yesterday, on my birthday, the greatest thing happened to me. My son and daughter came up to me with the biggest grins ever and their hands behind their backs. I figured that they were going to try to scare me with a spider or some other wild creature that they found. Well, they had torn a couple of pages out of a coloring book, colored the pictures and named them and wanted to give them to me for my birthday. LET ME TELL YOU…I almost started crying. There is nothing better than getting a gift, from your kids, of something that they took the time to make for you. You can buy just about anything and give it to somebody but you can’t really put a dollar value on something that they made for you from their heart, PRICELESS…

My two kids, Zack and Zoe, just made two pieces of paper more valuable to me than anything. I could only pray that this happens to every dad on their birthday.

My love.
My son Zack. My daughter Zoe.

Well, I just got through reading James’s post about Buster’s success at Site Street with search engine optimization.

Here is a quote from the Site Street blog that the company founder posted about Buster Collings:

Before I hired Buster in March, I was trying to do SEO all on my own. Big mistake… I may be a talented web developer and skilled in marketing and business, but I’m not an optimizer. I’ve hired the best optimizer around. Now, from a single source, you can get the best of development and optimization.

Wow Buster, great job, I always knew that you would find a great home and make a place for yourself there.

Benny

New header

Well everybody, tell me what ya’ll think about the new header. I personally like it very much. Thanks to James Cross’s creative mind I now have a new header. I did clean it up some and change the style of text in the snippet that James came up with. WOW, yeah, can you believe it…I used PhotoShop and ImageReady to edit and optimize the header. I also added an image map to link back to the homepage from my name in the header. I have started learning Photoshop finally…bout time right.

Anyway, thanks James for the header. And can everybody that views it post some feed back for me.

Thanks,
Benny

Keeping Up

I must say, it is hard to keep up with a blog. It is like a child…always needing you to feed it. I was told recently by James Cross that I didn’t need to write a book every time. All I really need to do is post some thoughts or a link to something cool that I found.

Ok, well I found this cool little tool called Google Maps for Internet Explorer and Windows. I downloaded it and started using it right away and I’m loving it. It is definitely a useful tool, I recommend that everybody on the web download it and use it. Buster Collings is a innovative developer and James Cross is branching out into icons now, good job you two.

And I guess that I should make the time to finish setting up my blog site.
